Sprachpraxis

In Sprachpraxis, we teach courses which help students to improve their written and spoken English, their translation skills, as well as their cultural knowledge of the English-speaking world (with a focus on the US and UK).

In addition to our teaching, in an effort to bring our culture(s) to the department as many of us are originally from different English-speaking countries, we also host regular social events such as a ceilidh (Scottish dancing) in the summer and a very popular carol singing evening before Christmas (see News and Events).
