Azorina vidalii & Myosotis azorica

My final project is a booklet on two endangered endemic plants of the Azores: the Azores bellflower Azorina vidalii and the Azores forget-me-not Myosotis azorica, based on photographs and short texts.
The intention was to
- present these plants through the particular setting of their occurence on one island (Corvo),
- to convey a sense of their uniqueness and liveliness,
- their embeddedness in different kinds of interactions with other plants and animals,
- anthropogenically changing habitats,
- and groups of people that engage with these plants with caring attention.
The pictures and related stories are the result of ten weeks of fieldwork on the Azores in June, July and August 2015, mainly on Corvo Island, for my Master Thesis in Environmental Planning and Engineering Ecology.
