Baby rhino at Tierpark Hellabrunn
Laura-Louise Gettmann, student of the Environmental Studies Certificate Program, was working at the Tierpark Hellabrunn when rhino baby Puri was born. Up until then, no rhino had been born in Europe, making it an unique moment for the zoo in Munich. Laura-Louise Gettmann's love for animals and work at the zoo allowed her to document the early experiences of a baby rhino's life.
Her online diary titled "Kleines Nashorn entdeckt die Welt" is filled with interesting facts about rhinos and wonderful visuals taken at Munich's Tierpark Hellabrunn.
