- Maria Fedina defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Place, Language, and Belonging: Being Komi in Contemporary Syktyvkar, Komi Republic” at the University of Helsinki in 2025. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center of Excellence 'Towards Multibeing Justice. Humanity and human responsibility in Indigenous societies' at the University of Helsinki, Finland.
- Anna Kuznetsova holds an MA in History and is a PhD researcher specialising in the ethnopolitical institutions of Finno-Ugric regions. She was also a board member of Estonian NGOs that develop and promote Finno-Ugric cultures and cooperation.
