In the EMA-Lab we research the articulatory movements of the speech organs using electromagnetic articulography. The method enables high-precision measurements of tongue, lip and jaw movements during speech in real time.

The EMA-Lab is located in the front building of Schellingstr. 3, room S230.

Reservations are required to use the EMA-Lab. The reservation process is the same as described for Recording Studio 1.

Eye tracker

Eye tracking experiment

The Institute is in possession of an EyeLink2000 system, which makes it possible to record and analyze eye movements. It is therefore ideal for various speech perception experiments, especially when the focus is on the temporal course of cognitive processing.

The eye tracker is located in recording studio 2 in Akademiestraße 7 (room 005).
