Kewen Shao is a master’s student in international relations at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. Her research focuses on global environmental governance, climate change, and agricultural policy, with particular attention to the role of international institutions in shaping national responses to environmental challenges. She previously studied psychology and completed an exchange program at the University of Zurich, developing an interdisciplinary background across social sciences and environmental studies. Her current research examines climate-related vulnerabilities in agricultural governance, using Ukraine as a case study of environmental risk and geopolitical instability. She is a co-author of a paper in psycholinguistics on the cross-cultural psychosemantics of the concept of “nature.”
