Alumni Association

Created in December 2017, the Rachel Carson Center Alumni Association e.V. is made up of alumni and current participants of the Master of Arts Environment and Society, the Environmental Studies Certificate Program and the Doctoral Program in Environment and Society, as well as current and former RCC staff members and affiliates.

The association provides networking possibilities, a space for members to share career advice and job-market experience.The organization maintains a strong relationship with the Rachel Carson Center and aims to support its mission of study and research. The association hosts several events per year, which all interested are welcome to attend.

For current and former RCC Fellows, the Society of Fellows is the main alumni organization.

Membership

No matter where you are now, or what your connection to the Rachel Carson Center is, we want you to become a member of our network!

The regular membership fee is 30 Euro per year. Those who are currently active at Rachel Carson Center are exempt from the membership fee. In certain cases, the membership fee can be reduced to 15 Euro per year. Details can be found in the fee regulations.

To join, simply fill out the application form and send a signed scan by e-mail to alumni@rcc.lmu.de:

Companies and individuals who are not associated with the Rachel Carson Center through participation in an academic program or other formal collaboration may support the work of the association as a sponsoring member. Please send a request to alumni@rcc.lmu.de.
